Former Liverpool star explains why Klopp is not the right man to manage England
- Neil Warnock thinks Jurgen Klopp is not the right man to manage England
- This coach needs time to build the team.
- But he insists he is one of the greatest coaches of his generation.
Former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock believes former Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is not the right manager for England because his style of play requires a long time to build up a team and allow his players to play tactically.
“If you look back at some of the players he signed when he was at Liverpool, it took them six months to a year to understand what he needed tactically, and you don’t have that time to focus and understand things in domestic football,” Warnock said .
“Is it enough for him as a manager to not be with the players every day at club ทางเข้า ufabet level? And would he want to be England manager? I think he would rather be Germany manager and at some point taking the England job might mean he misses out on Germany manager.”
“He’s obviously a fantastic manager and I would love to see him as England manager because I think he would do a fantastic job. But not everything fits what you want and with Klopp, I’m not sure it fits him.”
For Klopp, 57, he is currently out of work after leaving Liverpool and has been linked with the United States and Germany.
